Terms of Service

1. The service
Pautan ("we", "us") provides a link-in-bio page and mini store platform for sellers ("merchants"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Payments between buyers and merchants
Payments for products sold through a merchant's store are processed by HitPay and are paid directly into the merchant's own HitPay account. Pautan does not hold, receive, or transmit buyer funds at any time. The sales contract for any product is between the buyer and the merchant — not with Pautan. Merchants are solely responsible for their products, descriptions, pricing, fulfilment, delivery, refunds, and compliance with Malaysian consumer protection law.
4. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed in MYR, monthly or annually, through HitPay recurring billing. You may cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, after which your account moves to the free plan. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Pautan to sell anything illegal in Malaysia, including counterfeit goods, weapons, or controlled substances; to mislead or defraud buyers; to send spam; or to infringe the intellectual property of others. We may suspend or remove accounts, pages, or products that violate these terms, with or without notice.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload (names, images, product photos). You grant us a licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for disputes between buyers and merchants, or for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your public page and store stop being served.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
